Upcycled Food Products

The Station Food Company does not grow or harvest food. We purchase items that other purchasers do not want, transport it to our CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency) certified facility in Newport Station and up-cycle it into value added products which are then sold on to consumers – individuals or institutions.

Currently our value-added food products consist of mashed potatoes, purées, soups/broths, frozen meals, preserves, and baked products with more products on the horizon.  Our team will be happy to hear from you.

Make us your specialty diet supplier with our vegetarian, vegan, and allergy conscious meal options.

Local Food Distribution

Need your product delivered? Our truck, with dry and cold capabilities, is available to transport for clients who operate agri-food businesses. The Station Truck makes weekly deliveries to several locations in and around Halifax and the Kentville area and bi-weekly deliveries to the South Shore, Dartmouth, Fall River, etc. 

Our on site shipping and receiving dock with pallet stacker allows ease of movement between our truck and our facility.  Contact us to find out where our route takes us.

Food Safe Dry & Cold Storage

The Station Food Hub Company offers dry, cold, and frozen on-site storage in Newport for client ingredients, packaging, and finished products. We also offer seasonal freezer storage to local livestock farmers for their frozen, cut and wrapped product needing food safe, temperature controlled storage.

With no long-term contracts our clients enjoy the flexibility of our monthly storage rates.
